Day 01: Lima
Arrival to Lima ’s international airport. Reception by a representative and transfer to the selected hotel in Miraflores. Overnight at the selected hotel in Lima.(-)
Day 02: Lima – Cusco
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the regular flight to Cusco’s Airport). Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel in Cusco. Overnight at the selected hotel in Cusco.(B)
Day 03: Cusco (3,399 masl)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at your leisure to acclimatize to the altitude. In the afternoon, city tour of the most attractive spots in the city and naturally to the four most important nearby ruins.City Tour in Cusco and Surroundings Ruins. This tour includes the best of Cusco: the Cathedral, very important for its architecture and collection of canvases from the “Escuela Cusqueña” ( Academy of Cusco ); the Temple of the Sun or “Koricancha”, a classic example of the fusion of Inca and Western cultures. Its finely polished stone walls were used as the foundations of the Convent of Santo Domingo. The tour also includes the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Includes: transportation, guide and entrance fees. Duration: approximately 3 hours.Overnight at the selected hotel in Cusco.(B)
Day 04: Cusco – Sacred Valley (2,800 masl) – Cusco
Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo Ruins
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to the “ Sacred Valley of the Incas” in the morning
A full day tour of the Sacred Valley , formed by the Vilcanota or Urubamba river. It begins in Pisac where people from surrounding communities converge on the tiny central plaza to buy and sell produce and supplies. In the tourist section of the market, the artisans sell a wide variety of handicrafts. After lunch, the tour continues to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where the locals maintain the original construction of the Inca citadel. Overnight at Sacred Valley hotel. Day 05: Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes (2,400 masl) Machu Pichu - Cusco
Early breakfast at hotel. Transfer from the hotel in the Sacred Valley to the train station in Ollantaytambo.
Full day to Machu Picchu . Full day excursion to visit the most important archaeological site in Peru . Machu Picchu is located 70 miles northwest of Cusco . The tour starts with an early transfer to the railway station for the morning train ride to Aguas Calientes. Followed by a 20 minute bus ride up to the archaeological site for a guided tour. Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911, Machu Picchu is considered an absolute masterpiece of architecture and a unique testimony of the Inca civilization. After the visit, return to the village of Aguas Calientes where lunch is provided. Return to Cusco by train. Includes: transfers, train tickets, guide, entrance fees, ride round trip in bus to the site and Buffet lunch is included. In the afternoon return to Cusco . Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Day 06: Cusco - Puno
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the Bus station to take the regular Bus to Puno . During this trip you will have some stops to visit the most important attractions like the temple of Racchi and the chapel of Andahuaylillas. After approximately 08 hours arrival to Puno. Reception and transfer to the selected hotel in Puno. Duration: approximately 8hours.(B, L)
Day 07: Puno
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour in a boat to explore the Titicaca Lake . First we will visit the Uros, Then continue to Taquile Island. The tour starts with an early ride in a motorboat stopping first at the Uros floating islands for a visit. Fishermen and hunters inhabit these islands. After approximately three hours, the tour arrives at Taquile island, where there are numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and terraces. The island is only about .62 mile wide and 3.7 to 4.3 mile long. The Taquile population was relatively isolated from the mainland until the 1950s. The notion of community is still strong among the people. This is also reflected in the strong organization of community life and collective decision-making. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly weaving that dates back to the ancient Inca, Pukara and Colla civilizations. The visit could be exhausting due to the steep path that goes up to the village and the altitude (13,000 ft.). They have a local museum of traditional costumes. . We will take a lunch at the local restaurant.
Return to the city in the afternoon. Overnight at the selected hotel in Puno.(B, L)

Day 08: Puno – Lima - …
After breakfast, a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport for the return flight to USA.(B)
